How to choose a voice for your text
Listen to catalog samples first. Then use your chosen voice to read a short excerpt and hear how it handles your phrases, names and numbers.
Add punctuation and expand abbreviations that should be read in full. Learn more in the text preparation guide.
Stress, pauses and emotions
Adjust delivery using your text and editor controls:
- Stress. The method depends on the model. Prefer accented vowels: а́, е́, и́, о́, у́, ы́, э́, ю́, я́ — for example, «молоко́». Alternatively, capitalize the stressed vowel: «молокО».
- Pauses. In models 2 and 3, place the cursor where you want a pause and click a pause duration.
- Emotions. When using v3 or v4 in models 2 and 3, delivery tags such as “[happy]” and “[calm]” are available.
